I began my career at CBS News as a two-week temp in the Accounting Department. That turned into 3 and a half years there. Finally after much training and some production experience, I began working as a production assistant and freelance sound technician, eventually making my way back to CBS News. In 1987 I joined the staff of the New York Camera Department, and quickly transitioned to cameraman. After an amazing career in the Northeast Bureau covering some the most important and interesting people, places and events over three decades, I retired in 2019.
